Congratulations to our amazing students who scored Platinum, Gold, or Silver on the WorkKeys test! Mrs. Lagarde and Ms. Allen had the pleasure of awarding these high-achievers with ice cream and a sweatshirt as a token of our pride and appreciation. We are super proud of their hard work and success—and we’re already looking forward to ordering even more sweatshirts!

Ms. Bridgewater took her Students to Louisiana Culinary Institute. They toured the campus, ate lunch, and then had a blast exploring the innovative world of molecular gastronomy. Molecular gastronomy is where science meets culinary arts, discovering how creativity and technology transform the dining experience.

Green Machine Competes in State Marching Competition

On November 5th, our incredible Green Machine took to the field for the first annual LMEA State Marching Competition! We are thrilled to announce that they earned the title of Superior Marching Band and claimed 1st Runner-Up in the state for Traditional Marching!

Bubbling with Discovery: Yeast and Cellular Respiration!

Our students, in Mrs. Patin's class, planned and executed a fascinating investigation using a Yeast Model to explore the changes in matter and energy flows during cellular respiration. They examined how these processes vary under different conditions, gaining valuable insights into the science of fermentation and energy production.
This hands-on experience not only deepened their understanding of biological systems but also highlighted the importance of experimentation in science. Great job, everyone!
