Moving Forward Monday
A huge shoutout to all our amazing partners who joined us for Moving Forward Monday! Our students had a fantastic time connecting with Ms. Lee from the Iberville Parish Library, who provided some incredible resources. They also thoroughly enjoyed the STEM activity hosted by Shintech in the library during high school lunch! Your support and involvement make a real difference in our students' educational journey. Together, we're building a brighter future!
ACT 20+ Club

Louisiana Tech Visit
Ms. Allen organized an informative visit from a representative of Louisiana Tech to PHS! Our seniors who are interested in learning more about this amazing university had a great time asking questions and discovering all the incredible opportunities Louisiana Tech has to offer. Green Machine News
On November 5th, our incredible Green Machine took to the field for the first annual LMEA State Marching Competition! We are thrilled to announce that they earned the title of Superior Marching Band and claimed 1st Runner-Up in the state for Traditional Marching!
A huge congratulations to our talented musicians and dedicated staff for their hard work and passion. We are so proud of the Green Machine!
Bubbling with Discovery: Yeast and Cellular Respiration!
Our students, in Mrs. Patin's class, planned and executed a fascinating investigation using a Yeast Model to explore the changes in matter and energy flows during cellular respiration. They examined how these processes vary under different conditions, gaining valuable insights into the science of fermentation and energy production.
This hands-on experience not only deepened their understanding of biological systems but also highlighted the importance of experimentation in science. Great job, everyone!

Exploring Chemical Reactions in 7th-Grade Science
Mrs. Whitaker's 7th-grade Science students were engaged in exploring chemical reactions. They enjoyed seeing how each reaction created different substances with differing evidence of a chemical reaction.
